March 25 in the Whole History of the world

Let all the evolutionary philosophers,* whose brains must evidently still be “evolving” towards some unknown terminus, keep silent with their opinions. The Catholic Tradition, arrested by Saints and Fathers, tells us that March 25 is the greatest of all days in the history of the World, after the Resurrection.

God’s liturgical love

It was, according to Sacred Tradition,

on March 25 that Adam and Eve were created. It was on March 25 that Our Lord was conceived in the womb of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It was on March 25 that Jesus died on the Cross for us, on Mount Calvary. All these events occurred in the simple innocence and charm of God’s liturgical love at three o’clock in the afternoon.

“Saint John the Baptist was beheaded on March 25, one year before the death of Our Lord. By way of title, March 25 is call the Feast of the Annunciation. To show how much Our Lady still lives this day in the calendar of her affection and remembrance, it was on March 25, 1858, that the Blessed Virgin Mary said to Marie Bernadette at Lourdes, “I AM THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION”. It is a time to rejoice and to sing with Our Lady her Magnificat again.

*Note: “Science,” from the time of Francis Bacon especially, is one of the most philosophically loaded word-concepts in any language.  It is thus perilous to follow the fads of speculative, as opposed to hard, science (chemistry, biology, physics, etc.) which is ever in flux, because if Adam goes, per evolutionary philosophy, so does the Cross with it (Rom 5:12-21), according to both the Lord and St. Paul’s teachings(1).

Short of what little God has been pleased to reveal, the origin and ends of the universe in the final analysis will ever remain an ultimate mystery beyond the ability of any person to “measure” and comprehend. Evolutionary philosophy must always consider the Virgin Birth to be an oxymoron and the resurrection and Eucharist to be utter nonsense,

foolishness to the Greeks and a stumbling block to Jews” (1 Cor. 1:18f).

Catholic theology is bound to deviate from both Sacred Scripture and Tradition and thus become unstable to the extent that it follows evolutionary error. Outside of Faith and morals (which evolutionary philosophy often vitiate) the magisterium is simply not competent to judge. Some recent popes who were in effect inclined to plead ‘no contest” relative to modern science were thankfully more philosophically rooted in faith in the biblical witness than most evolutionists would care to tolerate.

(1) Jesus Our Lord taught that Adam was a real historical person (Luke 3:23-38; Matthew 19:3-9). And Adam stands at the head of the biblical genealogical narrative in Genesis 5:1-5. St. Paul elaborated on the theological significance of the Cross in relation to the Fall of Adam (Rom. 5:1-5). Paul cited the theological significance of Adam elsewhere as well.
