Certainly after 70, if not earlier, he says, “Staying home isn’t about hiding. It’s about highly efficient energy management. It’s about protecting the limited voltage you have left so you can spend it  on the things that actually matter to your soul.

For me, spending my energy looks like walking out to my garage, turning on the overhead lights, and spending 4 hours sanding a piece of solid walnut. Let me tell you… “
