After an event like WACO it appears Ms. Clinton begs for endless punishment. She can’t wipe the blood off of her hands. It was Attorney General Janet Reno who took the political fall (1) —for the Clintons.
“The incident began when the ATF attempted to raid the church with 75 armed agents, two cattle trailers and miltary helicopters. An intense gun battle erupted, resulting in the deaths of four government agents, six Branch Davidians and many wounded. Upon the ATF’s failure to raid Mount Carmel, a siege lasting 51 days was initiated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Eventually, the FBI launched an assault and initiated a tear gas attack in an attempt to force the Branch Davidians out of the church. During the attack, a fire engulfed Mount Carmel Center. This resulted in the deaths of 82 Branch Davidians, including 25 children, two pregnant women and David Koresh.
When he first met the man who called himself David Koresh, David Thibodeau was a drummer in a local a rock band. Though he had never been religious in the slightest, Thibodeau gradually became a follower and moved to the Branch Davidian compound in Waco. He remained there until April 19, 1993, when the compound was stormed and burned to the ground after a 51-day standoff with government authorities. (More below)

“In this compelling account — now with an updated epilogue that revisits remaining survivors–Thibodeau explores why so many people came to believe that Koresh was divinely inspired. We meet the men, women, and children of Mt. Carmel. We get inside the day-to-day life of the community. We also understand Thibodeau’s brutally honest assessment of the United States government’s actions. The result is a memoir that reads like a thriller, with each page taking us closer to the eventual inferno. — Read more of survivor David Thibodeaus account…

(1) There was no real public accountability, much less public penance before God. The public confession of grave moral sins and crimes is an alien concept in this country. The will to power alone appears the supreme public virtue for public officials. Only political transgressions as such are punished.
The buck stops with the Clintons who ordered the raid. Janet Reno remained in office as the U.S. Attorney General after the Waco ATF tragedy. She took office on March 12, 1993, and the Waco siege ended on April 19, 1993. Despite facing criticism for her role in approving the FBI’s tear gas assault on the Branch Davidian compound, she continued to serve as Attorney General until 20012.
“Yet even now,” says the Lord,
“return to me with all your heart,
with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning;
13 and rend your hearts and not your garments.”
Return to the Lord, your God,
for he is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love,
and repents of evil.” — Joel 2:11-13
