Opinion. Florida Surgeon General Calls MRNA Covid Vax “The Antichrist of All Products”

Updated. Note: My only interest in the following clip is the first segment because Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, who served as the Apostolic Nuncio to the United States 2011 to 2016, said much the same thing early in the pandemic. While much is appreciated, no total agreement with the views of Tucker Carlson is implied.

Dr. Joseph Ladapo, appointed by Florida Governor Ron Desantis in September 2021, considers the Mrna Covid vaccine to be dangerous— so dangerous that in January he called it “the Antichrist of all products,” dangerous to health and even possibly to one’s personality. That got my attention, to be sure. Dr. Ladapo seems like a very sincere and knowledgeable man. He is presumably qualified to render an opinion. I am obviously not qualified to pass a judgment on the following claims, even if I confess to being alarmed anew by the debate.

As for the political opinions expressed subsequently in the long Carlson video, these express well known views, some of which I agree with, some of which I don’t. They are not my focus. I am neither a backer of Joe Biden for President or of Donald Trump. I think both are morally dangerous to the people of this country and expect to vote for a Third Party candidate (not RFK, Jr.)

Following immediately below the Tucker Carlson / Dr. Joseph Ladapo video is a February 25 link leading to a response from AFP Hong Kong, citing “medical experts” and WHO officials who say “Covid-19 mRNA vaccines cannot change a person’s DNA…” (emphasis supplied)

AFP Hong Kong Response

“Medical experts have reiterated that Covid-19 mRNA vaccines cannot change a person’s DNA after Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo made the false claim in a January 2024 interview with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson. The World Health Organization (WHO) has previously debunked the long-running misinformation, saying “mRNA vaccines are not live virus vaccines and do not interfere with human DNA….” continue
