… or of Scientistic Transhumanism?
Eva Vlaardingerbroek and millions of young people around the world are waking up to the threats of scientism, what Vlaardingerbroek rightly calls the “poisoned chalice of history”.
Note: Living in New Time.
Christians believe history is going somewhere. If man (m/w) is not allowed to flourish as the Image of God (Gen. 1:26,27) then, according to the ongoing projects of many progressive “scientists” and thinkers, that’s because over time a deliberately new and manipulated species of “humans” is being fostered (this hubris reflecting in part what John Paul II called “The Antiword“); these will be said to have “evolved.”
For “progressive” scientists, macroevolution is hardly complete; it is ongoing even now at every moment. But they say they may finally, at long last, be in a position to steer and direct the process. Man then in effect will have become God (2 These 2:7-12). ” SH.
“They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 For this reason God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.” (2 Thess. 2)
Surgical trans-genderism is not allowed for no reason. Nor did it appear by accident. “Science,” so-called, today is preparing the way to a New World.
“Where Are You?“
Gen. 1-3: The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’“
“You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it.
When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?” — Genesis 3:1-8. [Emphasis supplied.]

Pity the short-sighted ‘conservatives’ who are all giddy over Musk and his recent Internet acquisitions. This Americanist is no Savior.

Why we must begin thinking more about about Fossil Fuels if we really care about human beings
And incidentally re: a Davos would-be world ruler obsession: “Every single week there is a story from the mainstream press trying to convince me that I need to eat insects. This is a Davos-set obsession. The World Economic Forum has published literally hundreds of pieces like “5 Reasons Why Eating Insects Could Reduce Climate Change.” Steak, chicken, fish are all allegedly bad for the environment. And like private jets, these should be reserved only for Davos attendees, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and Taylor Swift. For the good of the world, you and I should be eased into a bug-based diet. Last weekend’s installment comes from the Washington Post’s health section: “Salted ants. Ground crickets. Why you should try edible insects.” No. . — Bari Weiss
