The famous Progressive anthem, “Outreach to the periphery!” appears to be a clever cover for theological subversion. It is difficult to see it any other way. The poor wolves have been neglected so long, Francis has opened the gates to the terrified and increasingly bloodied sheepfold  — with a smile for the cameras.
